Thankful Thursday: Playing Catch-up

Happy Friday friends!

I am like half way out of it because I have a massive headache today and a ton going on at work.  I’m actually traveling alllllll week next week, so that makes for a very busy day today!

Anyway… due to a busy schedule, Thankful Thursday keeps getting pushed to Friday.  You guys understand, though… right?

Thought so… Let’s get on with it then!

I am thankful that we got a contract signed for a new house! Yep, you just heard me/read me right! We have a signed contract and Evan and I are going to be homeowners:)  The house is under construction now and supposed to be finished around the end of March, so we will probably move in mid-April I’m guessing?  I have no idea.  All I know is the house is beautiful, in the perfect location and has a rooftop patio with an amazing view of downtown Houston.  I’m so happy!  I wasn’t expecting to absolutely loooooooooooove my first house.  This one, I’m obsessed.

I am thankful that we don’t have to stay in the apartment for a long time.  I was starting to get nervous.  Yes, there is room for the both of us… but it is VERY cozy.  We will definitely not have to worry about it for too long now (as of yesterday actually) and I am thankful for that!

I am thankful for the weather!  I know I talk about this probably a little too often, but when I see blizzard-like conditions all over the news, all I can think about is how I only needed a light cardigan today.  I’m thankful for that;)

I am thankful it is the weekend.  Turns out, the new schedule is making me REALLY tired.  I am positive I will adjust, it’s just going to take a little time.  I am thankful I can go home and relax for the weekend!

I am thankful for these adorable little heart paper clips my boss’ wife got all the girls in the office (there’s three of us).  I have been paper clipping random stuff just because these make me so happy.

I am thankful I have a brother who is a CPA.  He is awesome and does my taxes for me.  I’m the luckiest girl ever.

There we are… We definitely weren’t having to think about taxes back in those days:)
