Thankful Thursday: Hodgepodge

I am excited tomorrow is Friday… I think I say that every Thursday, but technically, it’s always true.  AND, I don’t lie.  So, that’s a plus!

While I tell you how excited I am for the weekend, I will also tell you all about what I am thankful for on this fine, beautiful Thursday.

I am thankful I live in Houston and the weather is absolutely beautiful almost all the time.  Today it is supposed to be 76 and that is pretty much amazing.  Last night, the weather was amazing and we got to celebrate Lincoln (my friend that always runs with me), yeah him, his last night outside on a patio drinking beers, because the weather was beautiful:)  The weather here is just totally awesome!

I am thankful for the spa pedicure I treated myself to on Monday night.  It was definitely worth it.  I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed too and that was a mistake.  NEVER say you want them “thinner.”  Currently, I look permanently surprised!  It’s not that bad, but they do look pretty bad.  At least I was relaxed from the awesome pedicure… otherwise, I probably would’ve been P*SSED.

I am thankful I got to see Evan last weekend;) 

We had a really good time cooking together, as we always do.  Now, I’m being impatient and really ready for him to just move here already!  One week… one week.

I am thankful I have a weekend to prepare for Evan to move.  I actually currently have no space for the poor guy.  I need to take quite a few things to storage to make room.  I’m glad I have the weekend to get a closet cleaned out for him.

I am thankful our “Save the Dates” turned out cute! I haven’t seen them in person, but my mom says they are cute;)  I trust her!  I actually designed them on Zazzle, so I knew I would like them, but hopefully in person, they are even cuter!

I am thankful that I got a good performance review at work today.  That stuff always makes me super nervous, but today I found out everything is going great!  It actually makes me want to work even harder and it’s always nice to know you are doing a good job:)

I am thankful tomorrow is Friday… did I say that already?

I am thankful I get to see Mary T tonight!  She’s the Executive Director of Girls on the Run Greater Houston and pretty much one of my all-time favorite people.  We are having drinks and dinner and I’m thankful we get to catch up!

I am thankful for multiple “Fun Runs” coming up.  I just found out about two!  First, I will be running a 10K in Houston… the Rodeo Run:) Then, for work, I will be running a 5K to support one of our Healthcare clients.

That’s total hodgepodge, but so is my life right now!  Now, I’m turning the tables… what are YOU thankful for?
